Precipice was a female SkyWing who was introduced in The Hybrid Prince. She was the Queens' Claw of the SkyWing tribe. She was an animus and enchanted the Dungeon Isle and the SharpWings.

Precipice had darker orange scales. She wore the Queen's Claws necklace, with nine different claws hanging from it, including a crocodile, polar bear, and eagle. She also wore twisty metal earrings and beaten copper wristbands with smaller versions of the SharpWings clipped to each band,[1] as well as a traveling bag.[2] When she appeared to deliver her message, she was translucent.[3]
Personality
Clink described Precipice as a genius.[4] Despite Darkling and Lemur's crime, she felt sympathy for the other dragons that were going to be imprisoned and left them a way out.[5]

Biography
The Forgotten Isles Prophecy
Precipice appeared in the prologue alongside Bloodshed, who had taken her to Harmony to show her the village. Precipice agreed that the village was illegal and that they should inform the other Queens' Claws.
Umber saw Precipice in the scene of Queen Falcon's death in the memory room. Precipice was with Falcon just before her assassination. She was later mentioned by Sorrel and Darkling when they told Euphoria and Magnolia that she and Bloodshed had seen Harmony. Precipice was seen again in the scene of Queen Retribution and Queen Summit giving notes on Precipice's prison design.
