Falcon was a female SkyWing who was introduced in The Hybrid Prince. She was queen of the SkyWings over three thousand years ago until she was assassinated by Darkling and Lemur.

Description

Falcon was tall and glamorous, with golden-orange scales. She wore a glittering crown.

Personality

Falcon appeared to be reasonable and confident in her safety as she talked to Precipice right before she was murdered.

When Umber was watching the vision of her assassination, the magic controlling the vision caused Umber to feel that Falcon is glorious, generous, kind, wise, and benevolent. It also made him feel she was the greatest queen to have ever lived, and that she could have reigned for years of peace and prosperity.

The Hybrid Prince

Falcon was mentioned in the prologue when Precipice said that her queen may not care about Harmony.

When Umber was first in the Memory Room, he watched the scene of Falcon being assassinated by Darkling and Lemur. Before she was assassinated, Umber watched as she walked into her throne room in the SkyWing palace with Precipice, sat down on her throne, then told Precipice to set up a meeting with the NightWings. Precipice commented on Summit acting odd, but Queen Falcon dismisses the notion and denies any need for guards, as she thought that Summit was not strong enough to challenge her for the throne. Precipice left and told her to be careful.

Soon after, Lemur and Darkling entered to kill her. Lemur wrestled her onto the floor and wrapped a coil of thorn-covered vine around Falcon's neck to keep her down. He was then joined by Darkling, who helped hold the queen down after she slipped into the throne room from a nearby balcony. Lemur hesitated, asking Darkling if they should really kill her. Darkling said yes, that they had orders and to show no mercy. Darkling then assassinated the queen by slashing her throat with her venom-tipped claws.
