(Not to be confused with Harmony, a village.)
Harmony is a female BeetleWing-LeafWing-RainWing-SeaWing hybrid dragonet who was introduced in The Hybrid Prince. Harmony was named after the ancient village of the same name,[2] and is currently under the care of Umber, Mulberry, Quokka, and Wollemi.
Description
Harmony is small[3] and beautiful.[2] She has color-changing scales that are red, gold, blue, and green, with shimmers of rose and lavender and silver spirals along her wings and tail. She has leaf-shaped wings, a curling tail, webs between her talons, and antennae between her horns. She has green eyes, little claws,[3] and a tiny snout.[4] Umber thinks her nose is cute, and that she has a sweet face.[5] Before she hatched, Harmony's egg was pale yellow and warm, like sunbaked sand.[6]
Biography
Pre-Series
Harmony's parents abandoned her as an egg upon fleeing from the village of the same name. Summit ordered Precipice to destroy her and her clutchmate, but Precipice could not bring herself to do that. Instead, she enchanted Harmony and her clutchmate to remain suspended in time, always on the verge of hatching, the two eggs enchanted to only hatch when the "right dragons" found them. She hid them in a cave between two peaks near a small creek on the Dungeon Isle for the original prisoners to find and raise in order to escape. Precipice intended for them to be found within a generation or two, but they were not found until over three thousand years later.
The Forgotten Isles Prophecy
Umber and Mulberry found Harmony and her clutchmate, and after hearing the message Precipice left for the original prisoners, they were brought back to the Court of Refuge, where they were placed in a WildWing nest in the Hatchery. Harmony hatched six months after she was found, and was brought outside of the Barrier by Umber, Mulberry, Quokka, and Wollemi to be raised a month later on an island southeast of the Dungeon Isle.
