Retribution was shown to be xenophobic and cunning. She loathed the idea of inter-tribal relationships and conspired with Queen Summit and Queen Hibiscus to drive the BeetleWings and the LeafWings out of Pyrrhia.[2] She was cautious with animus dragons as she warned Summit about Precipice possibly becoming a problem if she was smart enough to figure out about the conspiracy Summit did with Hibiscus and Retribution to take the throne and drive out the other tribes for more territory and treasure.
