Template:Charbox Typhoon is a fan-created character by a wiki user called Typhoonseawing who was featured in Darkness of Dragons. He is a male SeaWing-IceWing hybrid who currently lives in Possibility.

Appearance

Typhoon is depicted to have striking cobalt-blue scales, with a white underbelly and black eyes. His unique appearance is inherited from his parents, as he has IceWing spikes around his neck and SeaWing patterns under his wings. His claws are a soft variant of grey, and he wears a snail-shell earring in his left ear. In Darkness of Dragons, Tawny (a member of the Outclaws) described him to Qibli when he requested an audience with Queen Thorn, "She's in a meeting, a really important meeting with that cool hybrid dragon from Possibility, remember?", though it is unknown if she was talking about appearance or his personality.

Personality

Typhoon seems to have a personality similar to Qibli, making small side jokes and having a generally similar tone of speech. He is concerned about his family and both of his tribes deeply. He is quirky, but can become very serious if there are urgent matters, particularly if his tribe or family is in jeopardy, and jumps quickly into matters concerning either of his tribes, which is shown when he immediately takes action to get Qibli's animus-resistance earrings to the entire IceWing tribe. Typhoon is also known to be sarcastic, and was said by Qibli to have 'an excellent straight face'.

Biography

Darkness of Dragons

After Qibli, Ostrich, Prince Winter, and Cobra escape from Vulture's compound, Qibli and the others travel across the Kingdom of Sand and arrive at their destination, Queen Thorn's Stronghold. After getting past two former Outclaws guarding the entrance to the stronghold, he goes alone to Queen Thorn's tent. Thorn, Smolder, and Typhoon are already there discussing a strange new illness that has plagued Possibility's IceWings. Typhoon realizes that the IceWing Plague is not natural and states that at the same time, every IceWing in Possibility started coughing blood. This happens to be around the same time as Darkstalker's escape. Typhoon says that his father is one of the most ill, and every full-blooded IceWing has fallen to the sickness. They then conduct a plan in which Typhoon will go with enough of Qibli's protection earrings to heal all the IceWings in Possibility, and then send them to the north in an attempt to heal the dragons in the Ice Kingdom. Before they start to act, Qibli asks Queen Thorn to arrest his mother for conspiracy against the queen. Typhoon then witnesses Qibli's attempt to force the protection earring onto Winter, who was one of the dragons most affected by Darkstalker's popularity spell. Later, when Qibli wakes up after Winter half-accidentally shot frostbreath onto Qibli's arm, they mention that Typhoon left for Possibility with the enchanted earrings that Qibli had left.

• A typhoon is a synonym for a tropical cyclone in the region of the Indian or Western Pacific Ocean, similar to a hurricane (which is in the Atlantic). 
• Typhoon is the fifth confirmed hybrid out of five.
• Typhoon is a former soldier, according to Typhoonseawing
• Typhoon mentions in Darkness of Dragons that he studied medicine and disease for two years.
• Despite only being half IceWing, Typhoon can still get over the Great Ice Cliff.
• Typhoon was immune to the IceWing plague because Darkstalker, being half-IceWing, did not include hybrids in the spell.
• Typhoon is the first and only fan-created character to appear in a book. His creator won the auction for the character to be in the book Darkness of Dragons.
