Goana is a female WildWing who was introduced in The Hybrid Prince. She was one of the dragons Umber trained in the King's Teeth and resides in the Court of Refuge.

Goana was mentioned when Umber thought about the dragons he was tasked to train for the King's Teeth. He remembered her by her colors and by how she hums to herself while she trains. She admitted to wanting to write a song to Umber when he asked. She had two little brothers who watched her train from a window above the training area.

Later, Umber reasoned with Goana to stand up against Beryl, as Goana wanted to share her songs with Aurora. Goana thought that she could have her own concerts if Aurora was gone, but Umber explained that Beryl and Snakeroot did not care about her.
