Platypus, also referred to as the ghost, is a female WildWing who was introduced in The Hybrid Prince. She is the sister of Quokka and currently resides in the Court of Refuge.
Description
According to Umber, Platypus looks like a WildWing. She is spiky all over like Taipan, with dappled gold, dark blue, and black with streaks of phosphorescent green striping her Pyrrhian wings[1] that glows in the dark.[2] Her face is shaped like Quokka's but fiercer. She is smaller than Umber but gave off a bristly air of being older, tougher, and grumpier than him.[1] Platypus can shoot RainWing venom from her teeth and has venom in her claws.[3] She can also camouflage her scales if she concentrates hard enough.[4]
Personality
Platypus is chaotic[5] and often makes jokes.[6] Sora thought that she was a louder and grouchier version of Kinkajou.[7]

Relationships
Platypus and Aurora are close friends. They argue over forms of rebellion often,[8] but trust and care for one another. They are physically affectionate.[9]
Platypus hates Beryl and regards her as the dragon who stole the throne.[8]

Platypus is Quokka's sister. When Beryl and Snakeroot took the throne, they were separated. Beryl treated Quokka like a servant and decalred Platypus dead as a way to punish Platypus for trying to revolt.[10] Platypus thought that Quokka was cowardly for letting herself be pushed around while she could have hid away in the secret passageways with her and fighting back.
