Snapper
Snapper was an adult female SeaWing who was mentioned in Talons of Power. She was formerly a guard of the Royal Hatchery and was Abalone's deputy chief. Queen Coral had her executed because she failed to protect the queen's eggs.
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
In the prologue, King Gill sent Prince Turtle to find Snapper as quickly as possible and to tell her to guard the eggs. Turtle failed to find Snapper, and all of the female eggs were destroyed as a result of this. Queen Coral had Snapper executed after that.
Turtle mentioned Snapper in his thoughts, remembering how he had failed to find her. Turtle also mentioned that the night after his failure, the enchanted coral that was used to find lost things dragged him along until it found and bumped itself against Snapper's bloody corpse.
It was revealed by Queen Coral that when Turtle was searching for her, she was at the Summer Palace, not at the Deep Palace like she was supposed to be. It was unclear why Snapper was there, but because of that, it was not Turtle's fault that he could not find her, and she was executed with an extra painful death due to her disobedience.
