Prudence

Prudence was an adult female NightWing who was introduced in Runaway. She was the mother of Foeslayer, the mother-in-law of Arctic, and the grandmother of Whiteout and Darkstalker. She was sent to the Ice Kingdom with her daughter, Starclaws, and Discretion on a diplomatic mission to negotiate an alliance. Before this diplomatic mission, she was one of Queen Vigilance's closest advisors.
Description
Prudence had black scales.[1]
Personality
Prudence seemed to be very cunning and scheming, masterminding the plan of letting her daughter marry the prince of the IceWings to get her tribe animus magic. Prudence showed little regard for Foeslayer, as she insulted and tried to control her. Foeslayer noted that she would act outraged if one did not want something she was offering, and as soon as they did want it, she would say that they could not have it.[2]

Legends
Foeslayer mentioned Prudence when talking to Prince Arctic, saying that Prudence told her what to do all the time. She was also mentioned, not by name, when Darkstalker revealed his animus power. Foeslayer said that her mother would be pleased.
Winglets
Prudence was one of the four dragons, including her daughter, who went on the diplomatic trip to the Ice Kingdom.
Prudence attempted to take off Foeslayer's animus-enchanted diamond earring, but Arctic quickly made up an excuse, telling her that it was a diplomatic gift that would be rude to decline.
She was talking about how annoying Foeslayer's pacing was, when she was "frozen" by Prince Arctic with his enchanted dagger and then unfrozen. She agreed to escape with him and Foeslayer from the IceWings along with Starclaws and Discretion after being threatened by Arctic.
