Changbai is an IceWing dragonet of unknown gender who was introduced in Moon Rising. They are currently attending Jade Mountain Academy as a member of the Silver Winglet.

Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Fatespeaker pointed out a large group of IceWings to Moonwatcher and asked her whether she wanted to meet them; Changbai was likely among them. At the assembly, Changbai was likely among the four other IceWings surrounding Winter and Icicle to form a sort of barricade between them and the other dragons.
Alba, Changbai, and Ermine attacked Darkstalker as he introduced himself to several dragons at Jade Mountain Academy.
Changbai was shown sitting far from Winter. When Darkstalker was brought up, Changbai quickly mentioned he was not like the dragon from old stories, as he did not immediately start murdering everyone.
Trivia
- In the audiobook, Changbai was given a male voice. It is unknown whether that was at Tui's suggestion or the narrator's decision.
