Template:Charbox Ermine is an IceWing dragonet of unknown gender in the Quartz Winglet attending Jade Mountain Academy. Ermine was never mentioned by name in Moon Rising, Winter Turning, or Escaping Peril (except in the lists of attendants at the academy in the beginning of each book); however, they appeared in Talons of Power and might be featured in some of the upcoming books as well.
History
Moonwatcher mentioned a large group of IceWings surrounding Prince Winter and Princess Icicle, when searching Icicle's mind, of which Ermine was presumably a part of.
Ermine was shown in the library with two other IceWings: Changbai, and Alba.
Trivia
- An ermine is an alternative name for a stoat, a type of weasel with a snow-colored winter coat and distinguished black tail-tip.
- Typically, people use the word ermine for the white-furred stoats in the winter.
