Current was an adult male SeaWing prince and a cousin of Fathom. He was a survivor of the Royal SeaWing Massacre.
Appearance
He was described as being a thin dragon[1] with blue scales[2] and blue eyes.[3]
Personality
Fathom described Current as confident and easy-to-smile.[1] After the massacre, he seemed very frightened, jumpy, and anxious, especially around Fathom. He was likely terrified of his cousin because he was an animus, just like Albatross was.
Biography
Legends
Pearl said Current liked "those Macadamia things," and would eat them all. He escaped the massacre by flinging himself into the ocean. Current swam nonstop for days before being washed into a cave in the Night Kingdom, where he was discovered by Clearsight and Darkstalker. He then was brought to Queen Vigilance's palace, where he remained for some time until he was sent back to the SeaWings with a message and an offer. When Fathom was summoned by Queen Pearl to the throne room, Current was brought in. He seemed haunted by Fathom and begs the guards to not be forced to look at him. Current is led away at his own request.
Relationships
Much like most of the other royal SeaWings, Current loved Albatross and was in disbelief after the massacre. He was in denial, claiming that something else must have turned the animus mad. Albatross's massacre left Current in a traumatized state, affecting him to the point where he grew anxious around Albatross's grandson Fathom.
Despite being his cousin, Current's relationships with Fathom is strained after the massacre. He seems to be traumatized due to Albatross and fears Fathom due to his magic.
