The Jade Mountain Prophecy
In Moon Rising, Fatespeaker pointed out a large group of IceWings to Moonwatcher and asked her whether she wanted to meet them; Changbai was likely among them. However, this might have just been Winter and Icicle.

Alba, Changbai and Ermine attacked Darkstalker as he was introducing himself to several dragons at Jade Mountain Academy.
Changbai was shown sitting far away from Winter. When Darkstalker was brought up, Changbai quickly mentioned he was not like the dragon from old stories, as he did not immediately start murdering everyone.
Trivia
- In the audiobook, Changbai was given a male voice. It is unknown whether that was at Tui's suggestion or the narrator's decision.
