Wings of Fire (TV show)

Wings of Fire (TV show) was the television adaptation of the Wings of Fire series. It was first announced in 2019, though little was revealed about it. It was under the works of Warner Bros. Animation and would have been launched on Netflix as a 3D animation. As of May 15th, 2022, the TV show is cancelled, although another company may pick it up. The first season would have contained ten episodes, each being forty minutes long. Ava DuVernay spearheaded the series, while Dan Milano and Christa Starr ran the show; DuVernay, Tui T. Sutherland, Sam Register, Sarah Bremmner, and Justin Ridge worked on executive producing duties. According to IMDB, as of April 2nd, 2022, the show had left Pre-Production and had begun Filming. The release date was originally going to be in 2022.^{[citation needed]}

• Tui noted that she wanted to have finished the Wings of Fire story before a TV series is released, because she does not want the ending taken away from her.
