Prudence

Template:Charbox Prudence is a female NightWing who is the mother of Foeslayer and the grandmother of Whiteout and Darkstalker. She seems to be a very cunning dragon that doesn't treat Foeslayer very well.
During Runaway, she admits that she brought Foeslayer along on the diplomatic trip to the Ice Kingdom so that she would fall in love with Prince Arctic and have his children, bringing animus powers to the NightWings. This shows that she thinks lowly of Foeslayer, saying that she would be the only NightWing stupid enough to do it since she knew that her daughter would be the kind of dragon to betray their tribe, and that she is generally cruel and manipulative when it comes to the future of the Nightwing tribe.
Prudence is also mentioned in Darkstalker (Legends), although not by name, when Darkstalker reveals to his family that he is an animus. Foeslayer, after that announcement, shakes her head and says that her mother (Prudence) would be pleased.
In Runaway, Prudence is one of the four dragons, including her daughter, who went on the diplomatic trip to the Ice Kingdom.
Prudence attempts to take off Foeslayer's animus enchanted diamond earring, but Prince Arctic quickly makes up an excuse, telling her that it's a diplomatic gift that would be rude to decline.
She is, at one point, "frozen" by Prince Arctic with his enchanted dagger and then unfrozen. She agrees to escape with Arctic and Foeslayer from the IceWings along with Starclaws and Discretion after being threatened by Arctic.
