Template:Charbox Lynx is a young female IceWing who was introduced in Winter Turning. She currently resides in the Ice Kingdom as a warrior in the First Circle. She has been confirmed to play a major role in The Dangerous Gift.
Appearance
Lynx has been described as silver, with an unusual pattern of dark blue scales on her snout and wings that Winter considers pretty.
Personality
Winter observes that Lynx is very kind, hardworking, diligent, and intelligent, despite only being the daughter of a minor noble. Lynx appears to be friendlier than most IceWings, as she smiled and congratulated Winter when he reached the top of the IceWing dragonet rankings, rather than being jealous like Snowfall was. Lynx is considered a good fighter by Winter, who practiced with her to prepare for the Diamond Trial.

While scanning the dragons in the First Circle, Winter saw that Lynx was in second place behind Snowfall. He thought that this was much better news than the fact that Snowfall had moved to the top spot since Lynx was both nice and the daughter of a minor noble. Lynx had an unusual pattern of dark blue scales scattered along her white snout and wings. Winter thought they were pretty, but later they dreadfully reminded him of Moonwatcher's silver teardrop scales. On the morning after Winter was summoned for the Diamond Trial, Winter found Lynx and trained with her outside of the IceWing palace. When they finished fighting and were cleaning themselves, Queen Glacier arrived with Princess Icicle. When Winter moved up, Lynx, unlike Snowfall, was kind to Winter and warmly congratulated him on his success. |

| During the battle at Jade Mountain between the IceWings and the NightWings, Fearless was seen attacking a young female IceWing with blue scales freckling her snout. Winter saved the IceWing by spraying frostbreath on Fearless's wing, making her crash-land and crawl into a nearby cave. Although the female IceWing's name isn't stated, this could have potentially been Lynx. |

Lynx is known to have a crush on Winter. It is not known whether he returns her feelings or not.

- Lynx is likely now in first place in the dragonet rankings, because Hailstorm is now an adult, Winter is with the Talons of Peace, and Snowfall is the new queen.
- Tui stated in a Scholastic video that she would definitely like to have Lynx return.
- Lynx has been confirmed to be a major character in The Dangerous Gift.
- Lynx is the first known IceWing with unusual markings - they almost always have pure ice colors.
- Tui confirmed in an interview that Lynx will be on the back cover of The Dangerous Gift. This will make her the fifth dragon to show up on the cover of a book that they are not the protagonist for.
