Platypus is a female WildWing who was introduced in The Hybrid Prince. She is the sister of Quokka and resides in the Court of Refuge.

Description

According to Umber, Platypus looks like a WildWing. She is spiky all over like Taipan, with dappled gold, dark blue, and black with streaks of phosphorescent green striping her Pyrrhian wings[1] that glows in the dark.[2] Her face is shaped like Quokka's but fiercer. She is smaller than Umber but gave off a bristly air of being older, tougher, and grumpier than him.[1] Platypus can shoot RainWing venom from her teeth and has venom in her claws.[3] She can also camouflage her scales if she concentrates hard enough.[4]
