Urchin was the first SeaWing to find Kestrel's dead body, which was just a few islands away from the Summer Palace. He told Moray about it, who then informed Coral.
Afterward, Urchin sat in the SeaWing Council as Coral's messenger, despite him not being a Council member.
Urchin later arrived at the scene when Webs returned to the Summer Palace and reported to Coral that Piranha had captured a suspicious dragon, possibly one working with Webs. This dragon turned out to be Riptide.
