(Not to be confused with Snail, a SeaWing from the Copper Winglet.)
Snail is a female SeaWing guard who was introduced in The Lost Heir. She currently serves as a guard under Commander Shark in the Kingdom of the Sea.
Personality
Snail strongly believed in the Dragonet Prophecy, and trusted that the dragonets of destiny would end the War of SandWing Succession and bring peace to Pyrrhia. It can be inferred that she is reasonable and fair, as she gave up the keys that would unlock Clay's chains after Tsunami explained why they needed him alive, despite direct orders from Shark. She is selfless, and seems to care deeply about other dragons.[1]
Biography
The Dragonet Prophecy
Along with Herring, Flounder, and Kelp, Snail was one of the SeaWings that guarded the keys to unlock the chains to Clay's prison in the Summer Palace. She was skeptical to hand over the key to Tsunami, fearing punishment from either Coral or Shark. However, Tsunami was eventually able to convince Snail and the other guards that letting a dragonet of destiny die was a worse crime, as it would doom them to perpetual war. Snail gave her the keys, and in return she made Tsunami promise when she became queen, to have their families taken care of if they were punished. She along with Herring were later seen guarding the feasting hall, the two of them looking anxiously as if awaiting their punishment. Tsunami, knowing that the guards would be punished, made a scene in front of Coral to make it harder for Coral to punish them.
