Template:CharboxKelp is a SeaWing guard of unknown gender serving under the current SeaWing queen, Queen Coral. Kelp appears briefly in The Lost Heir, where they are seen guarding Clay, Sunny, Starflight, and Glory outside their cave, withholding the keys with three other guards.
Biography
Kelp was one of the four SeaWing guards on duty when Clay was chained to the floor of the Summer Palace. The other guards were Snail, Flounder, and Herring. Tsunami later convinced them (rather than threaten them) to free Clay, since they'd be disobeying orders if they knowingly allowed the Dragonets of Destiny to drown while in the care of Queen Coral's guards.
Trivia
- Kelp is a large, green or brown type of seaweed, and the base of unique kelp-forest ecosystems.
- Kelp is shown guarding the dragonets' cave along with Snail, Herring, and Flounder in The Lost Heir. However, he and Flounder don't appear in the graphic novel adaption.
