The Great Ice Dragon is an ancient IceWing legend. Who or what the Great Ice Dragon is currently unknown, but Tui T. Sutherland has confirmed that they are considered a godly figure.[event 1] Many IceWings frequently swear under the Great Ice Dragon's name.
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Icicle mentioned the Great Ice Dragon in her thoughts: "By the teeth of the Great Ice Dragon, this is boring as sand. I shall certainly tell Mother and Father and Aunt Glacier what a waste of time this entire school is."
The Lost Continent Prophecy
Throughout the book, Snowfall frequently swore by the Great Ice Dragon.
Winglets
