The bombing of the Summer Palace was an event involving an attack on the Summer Palace, the SeaWings' hidden above water palace, by the SkyWings and MudWings. The attack was an act of the War of SandWing Succession in 5,011 AS by Burn's side, and led to the SeaWings backing out of the war and retreating to the Deep Palace.[1] The attack resulted in many SeaWing casualties and the descruction of the palace.[2]
Description
Crocodile, a MudWing working for the SkyWings [3], infiltrated the Talons of Peace and saved Webs when the Talons attempted to kill him, gaining his trust[4]. She tricked him into returning to Queen Coral, which allowed the SkyWings to track him to discover the location of the Summer Palace[3]. - Civilian SeaWings attempt to escape through the exit tunnel, but evacuating is difficult due to the tunnel's small size.[9]
- SeaWing soldiers led by Commander Shark defend against the SkyWings and aid in the evacuation.[9]
- In a confrontation with the dragonets of destiny, Crocodile is killed by Glory, who spits venom into her eyes.[10]
- The remaining SeaWings retreat into hiding underwater at the Deep Palace.[2] SeaWings with burn injuries from the bombing are treated by being submerged underwater.[13]
