Tortoiseshell is one of Sunstreak's and Clearsight's dragonets, along with their siblings Jewel, Commodore, and Orange.
Personality
Tortoiseshell was described as whip-smart by Clearsight, which suggests that they were rather intelligent -- at least more so than their siblings.

The Lost Continent Prophecy
Clearsight saw Tortoiseshell and their siblings in a vision after arriving at Pantala and saving the dragon tribes. She described Tortoiseshell as "whip-smart".
