Permafrost is an adult male IceWing who was introduced in The Dangerous Gift. He is the uncle of Crystal, Mink, and Queen Snowfall and a member of the IceWing royal family. He currently resides in the IceWing palace.
Description
Permafrost has gleaming scales.[1]
Personality
Permafrost is smarmy,[2] calm,[1] and believes that his opinions are more important than even the queen's.[2] He is described as awful all the time.[3]
Biography
The Lost Continent Prophecy
Permafrost was mentioned to have been moved down a rank for pointing out to Snowfall once more that the SeaWings might invade the Ice Kingdom from the north.
Lynx later mentions him when talking to Snowfall about the gift of order, wondering why he and Tundra were so high up on the rankings despite "always being so awful."
He was later seen with Tundra, the two of them crowning Mink as the temporary queen while Snowfall was away in Sanctuary. Permafrost then made himself scarce, likely avoiding Snowfall in order to prevent himself from dropping further down on the gift of order.
