- — Octopus to Turtle about Anemone, Talons of Power
Octopus is a male SeaWing dragonet prince who was introduced in Talons of Power. He is one of the thirty-two sons of Gill and Coral, hatchmate to Turtle and Cerulean. He currently resides in the Deep Palace with his brothers.
Biography
The Dragonet Prophecy
Octopus was indirectly mentioned when Anemone said she has lots of brothers, but she cannot play with them because Coral believes they play too rough.
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Octopus was indirectly mentioned when Turtle told Tsunami that she had thirty-two brothers.
Octopus was shown in the prologue with his hatchmates, Turtle and Cerulean, when King Gill came to ask them for help. He was also shown at the Talons of Power ceremony with his two brothers.
Throughout the book, Turtle often thought about him and Cerulean, including how he enchanted a piece of kelp to be faster than them in races and how his brothers exiled him for a month after the incident involving Snapper.
Coral indirectly mentions him in the letter she sent to Turtle, noting that Turtle's brothers believed he played a prank on them last time he was at the palace, warning him to check his bed for lobsters the next time he visits.
