Eclipse was one of the three dragonets of Clearsight and Darkstalker might have in a possible future. However, it was less than probable that she would exist, since Darkstalker was later put into an eternal sleep by Prince Fathom and Clearsight due to them thinking Darkstalker was becoming homicidal. Earlier in the book, Clearsight mentioned that Eclipse might need the mind-blocking bracelet, and also described her to be female[1].
