Pheasant hatched along with [[Reed]], [[Umber]], [[Marsh]], [[Crane]] and [[Sora]]. She was raised with Reed standing in for a Bigwings due to Clay being sold off to the Talons of Peace.


Later on, Clay made his way back to the [[Mudwing|MudWing]] Kingdom. His siblings encountered him and were overjoyed to find him. They helped him make peace with himself, and despite protests, let him go.

Pheasant is an adult female MudWing who was introduced in The Dragonet Prophecy. She currently resides in the Mud Kingdom with her brother Reed, working for Queen Moorhen.

Description

Pheasant has brown scales[1] and brown eyes.[2]

Personality

As a MudWing, Pheasant is loyal to her sibs, especially towards her bigwings. She especially praises Reed and shows support for him, calling him a good bigwings and thanking him for leading them during battle.[3] She appears to be knowledgeable, being the only one in her troop who had read up on the prophecy after meeting Clay.[4]

Biography

Pre-Series
Pheasant hatched along with Reed, Sora, Marsh, Crane, and Umber. She was raised with Reed, who was filling in as bigwings due to Clay's absence, as his egg was sold by their mother, Cattail to the Talons of Peace for at least two cows in order to fulfill the The Dragonet Prophecy.

Clay made his way back to the Mud Kingdom. His siblings encountered him and were overjoyed to find him. They helped him make peace with himself about attacking the other dragonets' eggs, and, despite their protests, unwillingly let him go. Pheasant stated that maybe Clay was their bigwings, which he biologically was.
The Hidden Kingdom
Pheasant was mentioned by Glory when she thought about where the dragonets would go after the prophecy.
The Dark Secret
In the prologue, the IceWings attacked, and Pheasant came to Sora's rescue. The troop escaped, and Pheasant said she had gained interest in and started to read about the prophecy after they found out Clay was part of it, being the "wings of the earth." She hoped that Clay would end the war soon.
The Brightest Night
Pheasant and her siblings were seen when Sunny and Clay went to the Mud Kingdom to send a message to Burn through Moorhen. Pheasant was wary to go along with the MudWings' planned attack on the IceWings to drive them out.

The Jade Mountain Prophecy

Umber mentioned Pheasant and Reed were doing some work for Queen Moorhen. Umber thought about Reed and Pheasant when Moon told Umber that Sora was the one who caused the explosion in the history cave.
