"All of them? Three moons, it'll be more like an invasion than a scouting trip."
— Fin to Turtle in Aquatic about their brothers, Talons of Power

Fin is a male SeaWing prince who was introduced in Talons of Power. He is one of the thirty-two sons of King Gill and Queen Coral. He currently resides in the Deep Palace with his brothers.

Personality

Fin seems to be one of the kinder or more considerate of Turtle's brothers, as he showed concern for Turtle when told about Anemone's soul. He seemed cautious of animus magic, and appears to have a sense of humor, such as when he joked about bringing all his brothers with him on the mapping mission.[3]

Biography

The Dragonet Prophecy

Fin was indirectly mentioned when Anemone said she has lots of brothers, but she could not play with them because Coral believed they play too rough.

The Jade Mountain Prophecy

Fin was indirectly mentioned when Turtle told Tsunami that she had thirty-two brothers.

Fin was first introduced when Turtle was going to warn his mother about Anemone. Fin saw Turtle and wondered why he had left Jade Mountain Academy to return to the Deep Palace. He referred to the academy as a "fancy hugging school." Turtle explained about Anemone, then told him to gather their brothers and take them all away from the palace, which Fin took seriously. Fin said that he may as well go on that "mapping expedition" he was planning to do, and would see if he could bring all of his brothers with him for their safekeeping. He joked that taking all of his brothers away from the palace would be more like an invasion than a mapping expedition.

Coral indirectly mentioned Fin in the letter she sent to Turtle in the epilogue, saying how Turtle's brothers believed that he played a prank on them the last time he was at the palace and warned him to check his bed for lobsters the next time he visited, indicating that they would try to get back at him.

Field Guides

Fin's letter to Turtle about their hatching day celebration was featured in the SeaWing chapter of the guide.
