Caribou was an adult female IceWing princess who was featured in A Guide to the Dragon World. She was an animus and the creator of the gift of subsistence. She resided in the IceWing palace.
Personality
Caribou described the princess as kind, empathetic, and compassionate.[1]
Biography
Pre-Series
Caribou met an IceWing named Snowstorm who had traveled from his village to the IceWing palace in order to compete for a spot in the palace school. They became best friends and Snowstorm became Caribou's closest advisor. He brought her to his village, inspiring her to create the gift of subsistence for her animus gift.
Caribou created the gift of subsistence before unveiling it at her gifting ceremony, shocking the aristocrat IceWings who all believed that it would make the IceWings lazy.
