Rootworm is an adult female HiveWing who was mentioned in The Hive Queen. She owns the ballroom below the prison in Jewel Hive.
Personality
Lady Jewel remarks that Rootworm would not be pleased if Cricket were to use her ballroom for escape,[1] hinting that she may be a generic full-of-herself Jewel Hive HiveWing.
Biography
The Lost Continent Prophecy
Rootworm and her ballroom were briefly mentioned by Lady Jewel when she was telling Cricket about all of the escape routes inside Jewel Hive. As Rootworm's likely reaction to Cricket dropping into her ballroom could be bad, Cricket went up through the kitchens instead.
