Lake Scorpion
Lake Scorpion is a body of water located in the southern area of Pantala.[1] It is directly connected to Dragonfly Bay, with the abyss and the abyss village located beneath it.
Description
Lake Scorpion is huge,[2] the biggest body of water within Dragontail Peninsula.[3] It surface glitters[4] and sparkles, and it is still and calm,[5] with hills,[6] trees,[3] and hundreds of caves surrounding it.[7] There is a cave opening on the north side of the lake, as well as a pebbled beach.[4]
History
The Lost Continent Prophecy
While discussing a plan to get a message to the rest of the stealth team, Cricket suggested that they should include Lake Scorpion as the location to the abyss. Later, while the team was in the underground cavern, Hemlock and members of the Bloodworm Hive Chrysalis volunteered to wait near the lake in order to meet up with Sundew and the others.
After Tsunami, Qibli, and Pineapple (who was possessed by Cottonmouth at the time) escaped Wasp Hive, Pineapple suggested that they should head south towards Lake Scorpion. Though Qibli was suspicious of Pineapple's sudden knowledge of the lake, they continued to fly southward, where they ran into Sundew, Lynx and Moonwatcher. After the team reunited, they decided to head to the abyss to help the rest of the stealth team. Sundew mentioned the message from Luna and Cricket that she had found earlier, telling them that they were planning on meeting near Lake Scorpion. After the team arrived at Lake Scorpion, a fight then ensued between the stealth team and Cottonmouth's dragons.
Field Guides
Scorpion Lake was mentioned briefly in an excpert from the Book of Clearsight about a drought that would cause the water in the lake to become shallow.
