Synopsis
The #1 New York Times bestselling Wings of Fire series soars to new heights in the fourth graphic novel adaptation!
In the shadows, trouble is brewing. . .
When Starflight is stolen by his own tribe, he hopes to at least discover some of the long-held NightWing secrets -- what magical powers they really have, who they're allied with in the war, and where they've been living all this time.
But the truth about Starflight's tribe is more terrible than he ever imagined: Not only do the NightWings live in a dark, miserable place, but they've imprisoned several innocent RainWings there, too. Stranded and alone, Starflight only wants to get back to his friends. But the fate of two kingdoms now rests in his talons, and with no one to save him, Starflight will have to find a way to be brave … before it's too late.
Plot
Starflight gets stolen by his own tribe! Morrowseer sends him to talk to the queen(the princess), as Queen Battlewinner is stated to be 'private', so she talks to them through her own daughter, Princess Greatness. The reason why Starflight was sent to a council is becuase the rest of his tribe, the NightWings, is confused why he lives in the mainland and might tell the other tribes NightWing secrets such as reading minds and telling the marrow is very rare and not a lot of them have it. After a few scenes of talking, it appears that Starflight apperently doesn't know any NightWing secrets. But they still plan to keep Starflight. Then, Starflight meets a happy-go-lucky NightWing named Fatespeaker who can tell the future a little but. Book 4 states that Fatespeaker reminds Starflight of Sunny, as he misses Sunny dearly. Then, he meets his father, Mastermind, a RainWing venom scientist who apperently was exited to meet his son. Then, Starflight and Fatespeaker meet a poor RainWing named Orchid. Once Starflight pronounced Mangrove's name, Orchid turned pink instead of grey and a nearby NightWing questioned how they changed her color, but Fatespeaker says "It's the color of happiness.".
