Appearance
She has three wings, and light yellow and brown scales that look like bananas and cashews mashed together.
Biography
Tau first appears arguing in Jewel Hive's library with Morpho and Cinnabar. She appears to side with Cinnabar as Cricket reveals herself, agreeing that not all the HiveWings are awful. When Sundew proposes war on the HiveWings, Tau steps up with tears in her eyes, saying she thought all the LeafWings were dead. Sundew awkwardly accepts the compliment, and Tau is revealed to have one small wing, likely a deformity. When Queen Wasp begins trying keys, Tau is shown to lack the ability to fly. After the soldiers get desperate, her and Cinnabar reveal themselves to allow the others escape, claiming that they snuck into the library to read. They deny Wasp's accusation of Blue, and then they are lead away.
Trivia
- Tau is named after the tau emerald dragonfly.
- She is the second SilkWing to be in love with a HiveWing, the first being Blue.
