Talisman is a scavenger city on Pyrrhia, located south of the SkyWing Palace. It is one of the three known scavenger cities known by name alongside Valor and The Indestructible City. It is one of the settings that Dragonslayer takes place in.
Description
Talisman is located near the Diamond Spray River, south of the Sky Palace. It was ruled by dragonmancers before they were overthrown by Wren. The current leader of Talisman is unknown.
History
Dragonslayer
Talisman is one of the main settings of Dragonslayer, and it is first shown as the home of two of the protagonists, Leaf, and Wren. At the beginning of the book, Wren is taken to be sacrificed close to Talisman, and she soon leaves the area with her dragon, Sky. For the first part of the book, all the action in Leaf's POV takes place in Talisman. At the end of the book, Wren, Leaf, and Ivy travel back to Talisman to reveal the dragonmancers' secrets.
