Swiftwings was an adult female NightWing who lived during the time of Darkstalker. She was the mother of Clearsight.
Personality
She appeared to be a loving mother that only wanted the best for Clearsight. She was kind and not very involved with the NightWing court.

The Lost Continent Prophecy
Swiftwings is indirectly mentioned in the prologue when Clearsight thinks about how she saved her parents, the NightWings, and Fathom by stopping Darkstalker.
Legends
Swiftwings appears to wake Clearsight for her first day of school. She suggests that she eat a rattlesnake for breakfast, but Clearsight tells her that rattlesnake would make her hiccup in the introduction circle and that a fish would make her land awkwardly. She then asks for a squirrel instead. Clearsight's behavior amuses Swiftwings. She then comments on the mess in Clearsight's room, filled with scrolls lying on the floor, and says that the real mess is Clearsight.
