Template:Charbox Princess Sunset was a female SkyWing and a princess who lived around 2,000 years before the events of The Dragonet Prophecy. Her only appearance in the series was during the events of Darkstalker. She was murdered in the Royal SeaWing Massacre by an insane Prince Albatross after she and Eagle were sent to the Kingdom of the Sea as ambassadors.
Appearance
She was mentioned to be pinkish-red in color, similar to the blood-red hibiscus flowers garnishing the Island Palace[1], with bright amber eyes.[2]
Personality
Sunset appeared to be quite snobbish during her time at the SeaWings' party, such as noting the raw food and wanting to set it on fire. Much like her companion, Eagle, she was wary of animus magic and casually explained about what SkyWings did with animus dragons.
Biography
Darkstalker
Sunset and Eagle were at a party, being given a tour by Queen Lagoon herself when Prince Albatross snapped and killed Lagoon. The two tried to escape, but Albatross turned the knife over in his talons and let it go, impaling Sunset "where her jaw met her neck,"[3] (most likely severing her carotid artery) and killing her instantly. Her companion, Eagle, was supposedly stabbed in the heart, but miraculously survived. After her death, the two tribes agreed to somewhat of a peace treaty where the SeaWings would give them the shore villages and send a tribute of gems and seafood for the next five years, partially due to the princess's death and partially to convince the SkyWings to keep quiet about the massacre,[4] so other tribes wouldn't take advantage of the SeaWings' vulnerability at the time.

Trivia
- Sunset is the first SkyWing dragon to be described as having pinkish scales, the second being Eagle(The Soldier) from Winter Turning.
- Sunset was the only SkyWing to die in The Royal SeaWing Massacre.
