Pearl was Fathom 's sister who later became Queen. After Albatross went insane and she and her brother Fathom were the few survivors, her first move as Queen was to ban animus magic use in her kingdom. She was mentioned in an Animus book which Moonwatcher read. Fathom promised her he would never use his animus powers until he had to use it once onDarkstalker .
