Peacemaker is a male NightWing-RainWing hybrid dragonet who was introduced in Darkness of Dragons. Formerly Darkstalker, Peacemaker was created by Kinkajou using Darkstalker's talisman. The spell was written to transform him into a one-year old dragonet with none of his former abilities or memories of his past life.
He currently lives with his mother, Hope, in the NightWing Village.
Appearance
Peacemaker has black scales,[1] a round face, and wide-set eyes.[2] Instead of the typical silver NightWing scales, he has a constellation of rainbow-colored scales on the undersides of his wings.[1] These scales can change colors.[3]
Personality
Peacemaker seems to be a happy, playful dragonet, similar to Cliff, Auklet, and Bumblebee. Kinkajou specifically enchanted him with Darkstalker's scroll to love strawberries obsessively, and it was shown in one of Moon's visions that his love of the fruits led into a hobby that involves making strawberry pies and making a song about strawberries. As shown in Darkness of Dragons, Peacemaker has mostly adapted to the sleep schedule of the average RainWing. He likes to weave, fish, and sing, and he enjoys making mud pies, as that was another aspect of Kinkajou's enchantment to his personality.
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Peacemaker made his first appearance shortly before the end of Darkness of Dragons, in Moon's vision while flying to Foeslayer. In the vision, she saw a little NightWing-RainWing hybrid, growing up in the rainforest and having a peaceful life. The dragonet loved strawberries, and would eventually grow up and write the song "Strawberries as Big as a Scavenger's Head" which would become famous among the NightWings and RainWings. Moon was confused about this vision since it didn't match at all the warfare that was going on around her.
At the final confrontation with Darkstalker, Moon told him about her vision, and Foeslayer gave him the strawberry Kinkajou enchanted with the final scraps of Darkstalker's scroll stolen from Chameleon. Darkstalker didn't want to give up his powers, but angrily ate the strawberry thinking it was harmless. He then started shrinking and Peacemaker made his first visual appearance. When the transformation was complete, the little dragonet was shown to be studying his talons, confused and hungry.
Later in the epilogue, he was seen in the rainforest with his mother, Hope. He was excited to see Moonwatcher, singing to her and making mud pies. Peacemaker showed no resemblance or sign of his past self, which made Moon both a little sad and relieved.

Relationships
Peacemaker seems to be very fond of Moonwatcher. This is probably caused by her frequent visits and being mutually kind to one another, but there is speculation that Peacemaker also likes her because of a lingering bit of Darkstalker in him.
As Foeslayer was mother to Darkstalker in his past life, she now looks after Peacemaker as Hope. Naturally, the two have a strong bond, and Peacemaker seems to amuse Hope quite often, given his silly and sweet personality.

Moonwatcher sees in her vision that Peacemaker will grow up, live a happy life and have funny little dragonets.

Trivia
- Peacemaker is the fifth confirmed hybrid in the series.
- Near the end of Darkness of Dragons, Hope (Foeslayer) had stated that maybe Darkstalker's fate would have been different if she'd chosen a name like Peacemaker from the beginning of his life.
- Perhaps in spite of Darkstalker, Kinkajou seemed to create his personality into the exact opposite of his former self.
- Peacemaker is the second RainWing hybrid in Wings of Fire, the first being Firefly.
- It is unknown if Kinkajou gave Peacemaker any NightWing or RainWing natural abilities, or perhaps a combination of the two.
- Peacemaker will most likely marry the tribe's blacksmith, have dragonets with them, and die peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his friends, according to Moonwatcher's vision.
- Tui has confirmed that Peacemaker will stay as Peacemaker forever, and will never find out about his past form as Darkstalker.
- According to Tui, if you put an earring on Peacemaker, he will turn into Darkstalker then vaporize into nothing due to his immortality spells being nullified.[4]
