Parch is an adult male SandWing who was mentioned in Deserter and briefly appeared in Darkness of Dragons. He is a member of the Outclaws and currently resides within the SandWing stronghold.
Personality
Parch is easy-to-laugh and agreeable, but he is one of the Outclaws who had the most trouble adapting to the new rules and structures of the palace. He still behaves like a renegade of the Scorpion Den, without much regard for dress code or showing up to guard duty on time. He is not malicious; he just assumes that nobody would ever become angry with him, given how many times he has nearly died to save the other Outclaws.[1] He jokes often and has a disregard for rules.[2]
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Parch is guarding the SandWing stronghold with Tawny when Qibli arrives with Cobra, Ostrich, and Winter. Tawny is reluctant to let them see Thorn, while Parch states that they can go in with no trouble. Eventually, they allow Qibli to go, and Qibli tells the others to wait for him by the Oasis monument.
Winglets
Blaze tells Six-Claws that, according to Camel — who was told this by Parch — Agave stole her favorite crown.
