Parch is an adult male SandWing mentioned in Deserter and formally appearing in Darkness of Dragons.
Personality
In Darkness of Dragons, he is said to be "behaving like a renegade of the Scorpion Den when it came to things like dress code or showing up for guard duty on time," assuming that no one would ever get mad at him for it because he'd nearly died many times to save the Outclaws. Qibli notes that this is mostly true. Parch is carefree, brave, and a little reckless.
Parch was very shy as a young dragonet, but seems to have grown out of it.[citation needed]
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Parch is guarding the Queen Thorn's stronghold with Tawny when Qibli arrives with Cobra, Ostrich, and Winter. Tawny is reluctant to let them see Thorn, while Parch states that they can go in with no trouble. Eventually, they allow Qibli to go, and Qibli tells the others to wait for him by the Oasis monument.
Winglets
Blaze tells Six-Claws that, according to Camel, Agave stole her favorite crown. Camel was told this by Parch.
