Outclaws
The Outclaws are a group of dragons who live in the Scorpion Den in the desert. This group is made up of SandWings but there are a few SkyWings and IceWings as well. They maintain order in the Scorpion Den and hide from the effects of the war.
The Outclaws try to feed all dragonets in their city to prevent starvation of young dragons in the Scorpion Den. It is unknown if this is the main reason why the group was formed.
The Brightest Night
The Outclaws' first and only appearance so far was in The Brightest Night. Sunny followed a trio of NightWings (Preyhunter, Fierceteeth, and Strongwings) to the Scorpion Den, leading her to the Outclaws. She met up with Six-Claws, who brought her to the leader named Thorn, and she caught a glimpse of what the life in the city was like.
When Sunny was captured by Addax and sent to Burn's Stronghold, the Outclaws came to rescue her. They were fighting a losing battle, and Sunny begged Peril to stop the fight. Doing so, Sunny met up with Thorn and parted ways; Thorn and the Outclaws to the Scorpion Den and Sunny to the Rainforest Kingdom.
