MudWing Succession Crisis
The MudWing Succession Crisis was an event where the MudWing tribe was left with no royal heirs to inherit the throne after the death and disappearance of both of the royal family's heirs, Queen Egret and Princess Bayou. The event took place three generations prior to Queen Moorhen.
Description
After becoming queen of the MudWings, Queen Egret only had one heir to take her place if anything were to happen to her. Although she ruled peacefully for a time, after her brother, Copperhead ran away, Egret grew paranoid and reckless, leading to her death. Bayou was destined to inherit the throne but broke under the pressure and ran away from the Mud Kingdom. With no heirs, the kingdom dissolved into madness for a month. The crisis was eventually solved after only a month when Olive, a MudWing construction worker near the MudWing palace, offered her eggs to Prince Sawgrass to hatch an heir while she ruled as queen in the meantime.
