Meerkat is a male SandWing who was introduced in Winter Turning. He is a member of the Enclave and he currently resides in Possibility.
Description
Meerkat is young and handsome.[1]
Personality
Meerkat seems friendly or welcoming, giving Winter and his friends a friendly nod.[1] He also appears to have a powerful authority over others, as he managed to call off Eagle, though this might be due to Meerkat's rank in the Enclave.
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Meerkat was an acquaintance of Qibli's who appeared briefly, escorting Kinkajou and the others to Mayfly's office. They were said to have met when Meerkat was paying tribute to the new queen of the SandWings, Queen Thorn. Eagle was shown to respect him when he broke up the conflict between Eagle and confused Hailstorm by providing him with a cover story about supposedly having a head injury. He seemed to have the authority of some force called the Enclave, which he referred to when he told Eagle to back down.
