Liana is a female RainWing who was introduced in The Hidden Kingdom. She was one of the first RainWings that Glory and Starflight encountered after Clay, Tsunami, Webs, and Sunny were tranquillized with RainWing sleeping darts.

She participated in freeing the RainWings that were imprisoned on the NightWing island, and she currently resides in the Rainforest Kingdom.

Appearance

Liana's scales are usually dark blue with dapples of gold.

Personality

Liana seemed kind, but was shown to be quite irritated when being asked many questions about the rainforest and the stealing of Glory's egg six years ago. She noted that Glory is not as brightly colored as the rest of the RainWings, that Glory's scales are a little "dull" and "mousy." Liana seemed insensitive, as she expected a reaction after remarking about Glory's scales and joking with Starflight to watch his terrified reaction.

Glory mentioned that Liana didn't seem like a team player when she considered choosing her for her team in the RainWing Royal Challenge.

Biography

The Dragonet Prophecy

The Hidden Kingdom

After the prophecy dragonets were taken to the RainWing Kingdom, Liana informed Glory what the tranquilizer darts were and explained what the concept of suntime was. She was visibly irritated when Glory reacted calmly to not knowing about those things as if she were hoping to start an argument. Glory thought that Liana realized she was stolen from the hatcheries, which led Starflight to figure out that the lack of sunshine in the caves the dragonets of destiny had grown up in had made Glory harsher and grumpier, and her scales duller than a typical RainWing's. Liana and the rest of the RainWing group led the dragonets back to the RainWing village, where suntime began and Liana left. Later, Glory also considered having Liana on her team for the RainWing Royal Challenge but picked Tamarin instead.

The Dark Secret
Liana and Grandeur used the NightWing spears to free captured RainWings. Liana was then seen completing tasks with Grandeur.
