The Kingdom of Sand is the home of the SandWings. The Scorpion Den is farther south, where Dune found Sunny's egg. Burn's Stronghold used to be the SandWing palace, but Burn took it over when she was attempting to claim the SandWing throne. The heads of executed dragons are mounted on the walls, and the decaying scent can be smelled from miles away.
In The Hidden Kingdom, when the dragonets were in the swamp, Glory describes it as "always hot and clear with no rainy days." There is a portal hidden by sand right outside of Burn's Stronghold. The Kingdom of Sand is full of cacti that can heal a SandWing's poison.
