Jewel Hive

Glitterbazzar

Little is know about Glitterbazzar, although it is a town or "city" in Jewel Hive. Glitterbazzar is not very sparkly which's ironic due to it's namesake. Glitterbazzar is located one Hive level down from Cadelle's neighborhood.

Salvation Statue

The Salvation Statue is similar to the Salvation Wall in Cicada Hive, as it depicts a triumphant Queen Wasp, carved in stone, holding the Book of Clearsight into the sky while impaling a LeafWing below her with one of her stingers. The statue represents a abstract male LeafWing known as ’The Enemy'. The Salvation Statue stands in the center of Glitterbazzar.

Raindrop Scales

Raindrop Scales is likely an art store or gallery run by Pinacate in the Jewel Hive. Raindrop Scales is supposedly one of the more recommended features of Jewel Hive, and it is only open during the rainy season.

Library

A library is mentioned in Jewel Hive, and will likely be visited more in The Hive Queen. It covers a whole level and is the largest in all the Hives, including Mantis Hive which was known for being ‘the smartest Hive’. It includes large statue of Clearsight, her nose in an ordinary book.

Art Scene

Little is known about the art scene but Luna constantly talked about it with Swordtail. It can be assumed that it's a gallery of art hence it namesake.

History

The Hive Queen

Cricket, Sundew, Blue, and Swordtail sneak in and steal a cape and a squiggly headdress for Sundew to hide the fact she has no antennae. They then walk past a guard and a HiveWing who suggests going to Raindrop Scales, say that “Pinacate has a trillion ideas”. They then walk past the Salvation Statue.

Trivia

• Blue, Cricket, Sundew, and Swordtail will be visiting Jewel Hive according to The Hive Queen excerpt on Amazon.
• The residents of the Jewel Hive including the SilkWings wear fancy outfits ( a lot of jewels). These outfits include capes and headdresses, though apparently veils have gone out of fashion.
