Jade Winglet

The Jade Winglet is one of the five winglets at the Jade Mountain Academy.

The second arc (books six-ten) focuses on the students in this winglet and contains the protagonists of Moon Rising, Winter Turning, Escaping Peril, Talons of Power, and Darkness of Dragons.

The winglet is sorted into clawmates. Moon, Carnelian, and Kinkajou were one set and the only ones with three. Umber and Turtle were another. Winter and Qibli are the third set. However, Carnelian was killed by Sora and Umber ran off with her. It is believed by many fans that Peril is Carnelian's replacement as shown by the pictures below.

Trivia

• While most of the winglets were named after gems and stones, this one could also be named after Jade Mountain.
