Garnet is shown briefly flying around Jade Mountain with two other SkyWing students, Thrush and Peregrine.

Trivia

• A garnet is a type of red gemstone, and is January's birthstone.
• Garnet is the third SkyWing to appear who is named after a type of gem, the others being Carnelian and Queen Ruby/Tourmaline.
• Garnet is the only SkyWing of unknown gender at Jade Mountain Academy. 
• Garnet may be female because three of the five SkyWings at Jade Academy are male, and Garnet being female would create a 3-2 male majority than a 4-1 one.
