Flame
Template:Infobox Flame is a red SkyWing and a false dragonet of destiny whose parents are in the Talons of Peace. Squid considers him a bully. He is the only false dragonet Morrowseer is certain he will use as a substitute for Glory (and, therefore, the broken SkyWing egg), whom he considers unsatisfactory. Flame has been shown to be nasty and uncaring; he enjoys setting Squid on fire and told Ochre and Fatespeaker he wished they would die. He is shown to have interest in being an assassin.
Biography
In the prologue to The Hidden Kingdom, he is shown having a practice fight with the other false dragonets. Squid considers him, Viper and Ochre to be bullies. In the Epilogue, when Ochre moans that he wants to die, Flame brings up that he also wants him to die. When Fatespeaker has a "vision", he says that he wants her to die, too.
In The Dark Secret, Flame first appears when he is introduced to Starflight with the other dragonets. He "votes" for him to replace Fatespeaker, and appears smug when Morrowseer says that he is the only one that may not be replaced. Morrowseer orders them to kill Starflight, and him and Viper ask if they can kill Fatespeaker instead. During the chase, he catches up to Starflight fast, but is arrested with Ochre for "trying to kill a NightWing dragonet," and Morrowseer has to let him out. While in jail, he meets Deathbringer. He later sneaks away to talk to him, and asks him what it takes to be an assassin, but is annoyed by Deathbringer's mooning over Glory. During a practice fight with the other dragonets, he is ordered to fight Fatespeaker, and Viper joins in. She accidentally hits him with her poisonous barb and falls into the Volcano. Morrowseer is horrified that Flame is hurt, as he's the only "dragonet" who cannot be replaced. Starflight knows the cure, but doesn't speak up. Later, him and Fatespeaker sneak him out of the hospital to go to the RainWing kingdom for a "cure." He is taken to the RainWing hospital and is cured with the Cactus juice.
