Book 8 is the eighth book in the Wings of Fire series. No official title or release date has been confirmed. Tui T. Sutherland has said the protagonist will be a SkyWing. It is likely to be Peril or a SkyWing introduced in Moon Rising. It is not likely to be Carnelian because she died in the fire in the Jade Mountain Acadamy.
